This was my first Springsteen concert. I had general admission floor tickets, and I was standing a long way from the stage. I didn't know that Bruce regularly came out into the crowd, and I certainly didn't expect him to walk out anywhere remotely near me. But at one point in the show, Bruce disappeared from view and I couldn't spot him. Suddenly, people near me started going crazy. There he was right in front of me! He sang for a moment and then fell backward and crowd surfed back to the stage. I'll probably never get that close to a performer again...it was an awesome experience!
