I took this awesome photo of Aaron Gillespie, the former drummer for the band Underoath (before they broke up), at the first ever Mayhem Festival in 2008. Underoath was always known for their energy on stage, and this photo really captures the enormous stage presence and passion that radiates from the band. This photo also captures Gillespie's classic and very well-known long, red hair that fans adored. As an avid concert-goer, specifically concerts with heavier bands, a solid action-packed performance shot speaks for itself when it comes to describing the passion, energy, and talent of an artist. This photo that I captured of Aaron Gillespie of Underoath does just that. It makes you feel that you are in the crowd connecting with the not only the fans packed around you, but the band in front of you.
