Singing in Color
The air we breathed was warm and tasted like chalk. It smelled like incense Everywhere we looked people were sharing big smiles, hugs and a sense of ahhhhhh. We sang out loud and danced as colors clouded the air. Bright pinks, neon greens, deep moody blues and sunny yellow rays zipped past our heads and over our bodies. Nothing was left untouched by the brilliant powdered paint. The music played loud and vibrant giving a pulse to the waves of the color spectrum surrounding us. With the high energy crowd there a steady peace keeping pace with the rhythmic bass notes that grounded us to the earth below our feet. We danced, we played, we sang out to the spring and laid upon the grass catching our breath. Breathing in more of the air and the color, laughing as we caught a glimpse of each others work of art.
