At Nocturnal Wonderland 2012, my friend and I were talking to a police officer about our experiences at music festivals (the police officers as well). It shocked me that, assuming they didn't enjoy it at all, the officers explained to me that these nights were some of the best nights they had ever had. Of course having to stay professional but they said that they met some of the most unique and down to earth people at "these kinds of things". Our conversation became much deeper than I thought, so I couldn't leave without handing them a kandi. He offered that I put it on the horse, and he unlocked the belt while I slipped it on. It reminds me, every time I see this picture, how wonderful everyone can be. Even those that have a profession where they are viewed as "unapproachable" can have a genuine conversation with someone like me whose dressed up in a half-ass indian outfit. Music festivals have shown me the beautiful side of people and our love for music. This is why I continue to go and I would do anything to be able to experience it as HardSummer with my closest friends.
