Papa Emeritus
A photo I took of Papa Emeritus of the band Ghost (BC) at last year's Rock on the Range. A friend and I got close enough to capture the true sense of presence that he brings to the stage, like that of an Anti-Pope. Ghost disguises their pro-Satanic lyrics with music that sounds like Brian Wilson fronting Blue Oyster Cult. If you're going to seduce people to the dark side, isn't easier with a sweet melody rather than "cookie monster" gutteral vocals??? Whether their Satanic stance is real or gimmick, who's to say, but they are very entertaining with their presentation.
