DARKSIDE
DARKSIDE played Terminal 5 in NYC in february. 3 minutes before they took the stage all photogs were kicked out of the photo pit and were told that we could shoot from wherever else. Unfortunately with such short notice I didn't have a decent spot secured that I could shoot from for the entirety. Luckily I snuck my way through people up to the second level where I had a great vantage point. Throughout the show DARKSIDE was silhouetted, and the stage was consumed by smoke which made capturing images very hard. I was able to get a few but this image is one of my favorite ones from 2014 to date. Although the setup was a struggle for photographers it could not have been more perfect for DARKSIDE as performers.
