Many years ago, a young girl found solace in a band when the world was crashing around her. Insecurity, instability, and illness plagued this little girl's life for some time, and through each trial she found her faith in this band's music. And in 2013, she finally got to see with her own eyes the men who she felt saved her. Music has powers that some just can't feel. Those four boys didn't think they could save themselves at one point, let alone a small town girl. This band's music has touched me very deeply and I am forever grateful for their guidance. This photo is just one memory I will keep close to my heart thanks to this band. Music is about so much more than chords and vocals; it's about reaching out to people you may not see or hear from and knowing that they're still there. Even if you think a band's music is atrocious, at least one person in the world has been touched by them, and that's pretty magnificent. Thank you for reading about the photo I feel is epic.
