Natural Amphitheatre, a Sunset, and NIN
All arms are in the air for a mesmerizing and hauntingly beautiful performance by Nine Inch Nails. The band is photographed at the natural amphitheatre in George Washington for the Sasquatch Music Festival on May 24, 2009. Trent Reznor’s authentic and soul-piercing voice is carried through the rolling hills, transcending the golden sunset falling behind the stage. As he performs the timeless classic, “The Hand that Feeds,” music lovers can’t keep their eyes off of the stage. Smoke rolls over the energized crowd as everyone is encapsulated in the sound. The photograph attempts to capture a community of music enthusiasts, sharing a beautiful sunset in a natural playground, listening to arguably one of the greatest bands of all time.
