Praise Yeezus!
At the Yeezus Tour in Tampa, FL, I was given the opportunity to witness an unforgettable performance by my favorite artist of all-time (of all-time! -- obligatory Taylor Swift interruption reference). Standing less than 10 feet away from Kanye, I was able to observe the passion and energy he displays night after night for thousands of fans. The show's production was spectacular. The stage featured a mountain that turned into a volcano, which then opened up, and Jesus walked out (seriously can't make this stuff up). Meanwhile, Mr. West spent a majority of the show standing on a second stage at the end of a long runway. At times this stage would rise into the air and become a jagged cliff, similar to Pride Rock in the Lion King, but, like, if Simba was Kanye. Two hours later, I emerged from the arena drenched in sweat and nearly speechless. The performance I had witnessed was beyond legendary. I would love nothing more than to be able to fly to San Francisco and see Kanye West perform again, so please... Vote for me!
