My friends and I first spotted this elephant from Coldplay's "Paradise" from our original seats midway back at the Hollywood Bowl. We simply assumed it was a crew member trying to entertain the crowd. Just as the show started, an employee rushed up to us and offered us seats near the very front of the stage. Confused, we accepted gratefully and ran to the front during their opening. Halfway through the show, I noticed the elephant still there, a fan who had kept her costume on the entire time hoping to get Chris Martin's attention. Finally, when they played the song "Paradise," he grabbed her hands and serenaded her, with the entire stadium singing together. He continued with the song as the girl finally took off her costume head and was crying with joy - a truly epic moment I will never forgot.
