Governors Ball Mudfest 2013
This photo represents the extreme weather my friends and I experienced during Governor's Ball 2013. On day 1, my fashion statement was a poncho since it rained vigorously all day. Some later acts were cancelled due to hazardous conditions! Luckily, the rain ceased for the next two days. Unfortunately, it was extremely muddy and there were puddles everywhere! I wore rain boots on Saturday and Sunday after my Crocs lost the torrential battle of day 1. Despite the crazy weather, my friends and I had an amazing experience at the festival. I am proud that my inner strength allowed me to attend all 3 days. On the last day of the festival, my friend and I posed in one of the thousands of puddles as we triumphed over mother nature. The fact that I was able to see my favorite band perform that day made it all the more fantastic. I will never forget that muddy weekend!
