This picture was taken as we walked into Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium for the first time. I had been abroad in Europe and had searched unsuccessfully all summer for tickets to what I saw as the best, most sought-after festival in the world. You can see the pure happiness on our faces for this amazing moment. Because we went through so much to get there- dreaming about going for years, being scammed hundreds of dollars out of fake tickets the week before, and knowing how it felt to feel as far away as possible from being able to come – even being in Belgium on the right weekend without the possibility of going to tomorrowland – We were absolutely overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude right at this moment. The feeling was unlike anything else, to finally be able to see something in person that had seemed so impossible for so long, like a far-fetched dream. As cheesy as it is, I embarrassingly started to cry the happiest of tears, and we even have a video of me trying not to tear up at how happy I was to finally be at Tomorrowland. This was the start of the most epic weekend of my life - meeting new friends from every country in the world, exploring Tomorrowland's 14 different stages and magical festival grounds, and making memories to last my entire life. Now we search to continue our quest of seeing all the world's best festivals so we can take more epic photos like this, make more amazing memories, and of course what it is all about- hear some more wonderful music!
