A few years ago I had the opportunity to see a band that was very new to me. I was in the Bahamas on a party cruise and knew there was going to be a concert held on one of the islands throughout the afternoon. I made my way into the first couple of rows before the first band came out. As the lead singer announced his band, I thought to myself, "I've never heard of these guys." No more than three songs into the set I had realized that I in fact had heard their music before. I was in shock that I was able to put faces and a group name to music that I had heard in the most random places. Video games, small record shops, random playlists on Pandora, etc. I was able to take a lot of pictures that captured how electric their performance was. The entire band got so into their music and it made everyone want to move, whether they knew the band or not. This photo illustrates the passion the Silversun Pickups displayed throughout the entirety of their show. Put together with the fact I was on a beach on a small island in the middle of the Bahamas, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
