My Eye's Are Red

My Eye's Are Red
this is here

It was late January and myself alongside a friend made the jaunt to Pittsburgh's Sage AE in hopes to see then rising star Ed Sheeran. We had braved the harsh winter cold, excessive fog, and dampness in order to see the singer/song-writer do what he does best. Upon arriving at the venue we noticed the line went around and groups of fans actually camped in hopes of being in the front, as such we expected to be near the back to see the man himself. Upon entering the venue we noticed a gap on the side stage portion of the pit and stationed ourselves for hours until Ed arrived. He blazed through a variety of songs making expert use of a loop pedal and even somehow took control of the whole venue through the leading of choral portions of songs and assingning moments of slience. All in all he masterfully owned the stage throughout his whole set. Just as he was looking to wrap things up he went into his single, 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'. The crowd ate it up as openers Rizzle Kicks entered the stage to accompany Ed on a verse within the nearly 15 minute song, in addition as a treat he managed to sneak in a verse from Pittsburgh's own Wiz Khalifa. The crowd roared as he sang 'Black and Yellow' and then hit 'Thrift Shop' within the song, finally he got to a portion of the song that sampled Laid Blak's 'My Eyes Are Red', just then I snapped this shot in which the entire venue lit up with a fiery red surrounding Ed alongside the crowd. The picture encapsulates this very moment.
