Everything in its right place
My 3rd of 5 straight commutes to Indio was likely my best. Each one has been special and unique, but 2012 was the best lineup Coachella has assembled. After spotting David Hasslehoff during the Pulp set and sleeping on my feet through Bon Iver, I finally got to see Radiohead for the 5th time. In actuality, I don't really even know how this photo came to be because of the partyin. But it did, and I am grateful. I'm glad I was there though, because the next Radiohead show I had tickets for didn't exactly go as planned. Perhaps you have heard of the stage collapse incident in Toronto. Nasty business. But the Flaming Lips played for free that night at Young and Dundas Square and they covered 'Knives Out', just for all of us sullen, obsessive and disappointed Radiohead people. I could use me some Outside Lands freebies...having done Coachella already and with Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, and Made In America Philly looming this year, I wouldn't mind getting the 6th one free. I earned it right?
