I'll Be Coming Back For You Someday
My Summer officially started earlier this month when I attended Weekend One of the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA. Music being a major component of my life, I truly wanted to see what the hype about festivals was about. In this photo, I got the chance to rage out with Calvin Harris at The Coachella Stage, which was the Second Largest Crowd in Coachella History!! The Sun was setting, creating a gorgeous backdrop to the most Amazing set that Third Day of the festival, ultimately burning it into my Long Term Memory. Everyone was entranced by the music and lights, and the aura was palpable. Looking around at the crowd and seeing my Best Friend, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. I don't always take pictures of the concerts I go to, because I believe the memories created by the experience are the ultimate photographs. When I do take pictures, however, they have a story and true meaning behind them. The ability to experience a spectrum of music genres in a matter of minutes got me addicted to the Festival Scene. And even when I saw a set alone, the music became great company. Festivals are a place where Music becomes a Living Entity, where Strangers become Friends, and where my Good Friends became Family. The only draw back is the withdrawals after the festival. Like that Calvin Harris song goes, we'll truly becoming back for you someday.
