Porter Robinson & Zedd at Freefest 2012
In 2012, before Porter Robinson or Zedd blew up in the mainstream culture, I was lucky enough to get up close and personal to them at the Virgin Mobile Freefest in Maryland. They played an epic set - TOGETHER, no less - and I remember snapping this shot during Spectrum, which was my favorite song at the time. Somehow, due to open exposure I've learned, this shot came through, and it just totally captures the magic of a really pure house show. Everyone blends together, you're in the music, time is suspended, movement becomes blurred and you can see time passing. It perfectly portrays the epicness of this moment, and this set, and I know I'll never get the opportunity to see the two of them like this again.
