Bonnaroo 2013. Beer in hand and the dreams of all the people on the current scope of land. With the title "Before I die I'd like to..." above head, I take in others fantasies as I'm about to write my own. There's something about taking a moment of solitude in the mist of all the crazies and craziness of a festival. People, young and old, are here to let go, to let live, to live and let die (Paul McCartney played that night, so that's fitting). This weekend is not about reality. It's not about responsibility. It's about being immersed in this particular cultural event with these particular people. It's about the music, man. It's about people surrounded by thousands of people all looking to just catch some good vibes. So to take the moment at this wall and get a bit existential is just a part of the trip. It's necessary in the journey of life. I learned a lot from this moment in time, and am always looking to build more! So take me away to your festival in the golden park, and let me live just a little bit fuller for a little bit longer. I'm not getting any younger, but baby I'm getting wiser.
